Portland: Move, Write, Draw
Embodied Process Group Starts Friday :)
Dear Ones,
This Friday, May 8, I will be starting a six-week embodied process group with a small group of local folks, in person. Woo! This is your chance to meet up with others in community and to have a confidential, deep, and safe place to work with what is inside. Perhaps you are feeling:
in transition or between identities
creatively blocked or disconnected
overwhelmed, tender, or uncertain
aware that something deeper is asking for your attention
Sometimes it is difficult to name what is happening, and we need collaboration from our more-than-human kin to understand.
This is how art operates in our bodies.
Art reveals what we cannot yet name.
Art allows for expression of uncertainty.
Art forms the unknown into the known.
Art allows space for indecision and confusion.
Art accepts us as we are.
Art asks us to meet ourselves.
Art offers an opening to being more than we currently are. During this six-week process, we will work together, and in collaboration with art—movement, drawing, and writing—to understand what is arising. We will discover many new questions. We will witness and be witnessed in our imperfect human forms, and in our perfect animal forms.

Once you register I will send you an invoice for the amount you are able to pay, $260-400.
About the Group
There are times in life when something is shifting, but it’s hard to name.
You may feel:
in transition or between identities
creatively blocked or disconnected
overwhelmed, tender, or uncertain
aware that something deeper is asking for your attention
This group offers a space to slow down and listen.
Through movement, expressive arts, and somatic awareness, we explore what is unfolding beneath the surface—together, in a small and supportive group.
How We Work
Each session may include:
gentle, guided movement
drawing, writing, or image-making
somatic awareness and nervous system support
time for reflection and optional sharing
You do not need to be an artist or have any prior experience.
This is not about performance or doing it “right,” but about exploration and connection.
What This Supports
Participants often experience:
greater connection to their body and inner experience
clarity during times of transition
renewed access to creativity and imagination
a sense of being witnessed without needing to explain everything
deeper trust in their own process
Once you register I will send you an invoice for the amount you are able to pay, $260-400.
